Samantha received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from George Mason University and her Master in Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. She is currently working as a Clinical Social Worker Supervisee and in the process of becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Samantha began her career working in a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient setting for eating disorders, treating individuals with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorders. She has experience working with crisis intervention, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and with survivors of interpersonal violence. Samantha enjoys working individually as well as leading a support groups.
Samantha encourages and supports clients through their journey of recovery through learning and implementing self-care, self-advocacy and increasing self-worth. Samantha’s practice aligns with Health at Every Size (HAES) and all foods fit through Intuitive Eating.
During her down time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, going to the beach, taking walks while listening to true crime and folklore podcasts and watching scary movies.
