Philosophy

Hailey is a fat-positive therapist and works from the philosophy that the therapeutic relationship is foundational to healing, growth, empowerment, safety, and connection. Creating that safety is her responsibility and she knows this process takes a lot of trust! Building the relationship is always prioritized, so all clients feel safe, honored, and heard.

Hailey utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy and incorporates different theories and interventions based on clients’ needs. She often utilized  Dialectical Behavior Therapy and intentionally includes approaches from polyvagal theory, Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, Relational Cultural Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Hailey is dedicated to seeing clients through a holistic lens and strives to honor their diversity by taking ethnicity, culture, race, sexual orientation, ability status, gender, and religion into thoughtful and in-depth consideration.

Joy
