Background
Sandrine is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a Psychotherapy Training Fellow at CAS. She is a graduate from Appalachian State University’s Clinical mental Health Counseling program. Sandrine completed a yearlong internship working with different populations. Her experience includes working with college age students and adults of all ages in both university and hospital settings, while treating depression, anxiety, eating concerns, trauma, career challenges, identity and relationship issues. In her work, she’s provided individual counseling, group counseling, assessment, diagnosis, crisis counseling and referral services. She has a particular interest in working with individuals healing from trauma.
Philosophy
Sandrine’s philosophy is that we are all able to heal from trauma and other things that hold us back. Seeking help is the first step towards realizing our health goals. Mental health is just as important as physical health, which is why she believes in a collaborative process that addresses the whole-person.
Joy
Outside of work, Sandrine enjoys being active. She loves hiking, podcasts, travel, exploring new places, and spending time with people she loves. She also has a special place for dance and has experience with different dance styles and music. Sandrine also loves meeting people from different cultures and speaks 4 foreign languages.
