Background

Danielle (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) with experience treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, psychosis, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related challenges. Danielle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University and continued her education at NC State University to earn her Masters in Social Work. She is passionate about the treatment of eating disorders and is in the process of becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.

 

Philosophy

Danielle has devoted herself to working with individuals and their families to provide a person-centered and empathetic approach to finding the authentic self. She dedicates herself to creating a pathway for growth and healing and focuses on using motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy modalities throughout her therapeutic practices.

 

Joy

Danielle finds joy in traveling the world, watching sunsets, finding new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.
